In the book of Nehemiah, we learn that the walls of Jerusalem were broken down and it’s gates were burnt with fire. Nehemiah was moved with great compassion and restored the walls and gates thereby bringing God’s people back and re-instating the Word which was forgotten.

Joy Ministries is a ministry of walls and gates based on the book of Nehemiah. The walls denote it’s strength and the gates represent the various ministries that will emerge that will bring healing and blessing to the communities whom it serves.

Our Vision is to build the ministry as a strong city with walls (denotes it's strength) and gates (represents the various ministries that will emerge) which will minister to the needs of the body of Christ and the community as a whole. (Nehemiah.)
